Sky has 7 years of professional editing and associate editing experience in documentary style branded content combining impactful visuals with real people, telling real stories.

They started editing at 12 years old, creating short films with a handheld camcorder and editing software at home. They continued editing music videos for friends in college while falling in love with film theory courses and indie & international films at the local film center.

Sky was trusted with an edit on their first day at Nickelodeon, cutting a Youtube video for Avatar the Last Airbender: Top Hits— it’s been a perfect match ever since. At Courageous Studios, their focus is long and short form branded content but they have experience with promos and commercials, social media content, interviews, on-set DIT work, and live events like the MTV’s VMAs in 2019 and 2020.

They’re looking forward to collaborating on more documentaries, music videos, and projects focusing on social justice including amplifying underrepresented communities & their stories.

Sky’s hobbies include music production and songwriting, tattooing, herbalism, surfing, illustration, community grief work, and death care education for the LGBTQIA+ community.
